The reality of a T-Mobile employee can be different in different workplaces. But while the employees in Germany can join the union without problems and have a dialogue with the employer, the reality is very different, and much worse, for the US employees who work under immense pressure and in fear of sanctions by the management. But who better to tell you the reality of working life at T-Mobile than the workers themselves?
Please be aware that since these people are not allowed to talk to unions or even talk about unions, we need to protect their identities. We have therefore removed details that would make it possible to identify them. But all the interviews are real and the workers are real T-Mobile employees. And they need your help! Support T-Mobile employees by sharing their stories!
What is the reality of the T-mobile workplaces in USA? Here you can visit the realities of the T-Mobile employees who are battling to be taken seriously in their struggle for their right to join the union (a human right!) and to stop T-Mobile’s union-busting campaign. A well-functioning social dialogue between the employer and the unionised workers can help drive the business of the company forward and improve its performance. Deutsche Telekom knows this well from its working relations in Germany, where unions are recognised and listened to.
So why not allow the US workers the same conditions? Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile: We expect better!!! The virtual tour of T-Mobile USA workplaces begins here; please share this information so more people can visit the T-Mobile reality.
The employees of T-Mobile in the USA are in a constant battle for things that T-Mobile workers in Germany already have. The US workers are simply demanding the right to be a member of a union – a basic human right – and for the employer to allow the employees to form trade unions and to bargain collectively. This is not rocket science. Many other companies similar to Deutsche Telekom’s T-Mobile are already allowing their workers to be trade union members and are making profits every year. A union at T-Mobile USA would improve the workers’ lives and get the company a better bottom line – even if it is inconvenient for a few managers!
