Open letter in the New York Times to T-Mobile’s parent company Deutsche Telekom

28 March 2012: Today, Eleven senior German politicians have published an open letter in the New York Times to T-Mobile’s parent company Deutsche Telekom.

In Germany, Deutsche Telekom respects unions and workers rights, whereas T-Mobile USA in the United States retains union busting consultants and viciously fights union organizing attempts.

The signers, among them the former Federal Minister of Justice Herta Däubler Gmelin, former Vice Chancellor Franz Müntefering, and former Federal Minister of Defense Peter Struck are calling on Deutsche Telekom to “end all collaboration with U.S. consultants who advise employers how to fight employee representation.”
